myView Literacy

Intensive Support and Practice Powered by SuccessMaker is a collection of integrated features designed to create a more seamless and powerful learning experience within myView Literacy. Intensive Support and Practice lessons are available for every unit. Lessons are aligned to Word Study Lessons in myView Literacy. Educators can assign these lessons to students following Whole Group and Peer Group in myView Literacy. As students work through the assignment, it is designed to build confidence with reading skills.

Gain Access to Intensive Support and Practice Courses in SuccessMaker

To gain access to Intensive Support and Practice courses within SuccessMaker, teachers with organizational licensing for myView Literacy with Intensive Support and Practice Powered by SuccessMaker resources must subscribe to the corresponding myView Literacy programs within Savvas Realize. This process enables them to create and manage Intensive Support and Practice assignments in SuccessMaker.

To add myView Literacy program subscriptions to your account:

  1. Log in to your Realize teacher account.

  2. Select your user profile icon at the top right of the page, then select Settings.

  3. Select the My Programs tab.

  4. Under the Programs Available to you list, select the check boxes for each myView Literacy program you want to subscribe to and add to your account.

  5. Select Save.

Once subscribed in Realize, you can create Intensive Support and Practice assignments for students in SuccessMaker related to those myView Literacy products.

Access to default SuccessMaker courses is based on your school or district having a license for SuccessMaker and does not require this subscription process. This subscription process is specific to accessing myView Literacy aligned Intensive Support and Practice Powered by SuccessMaker courseware.

Intensive Support and Practice in the Teacher Dashboard

The Teacher Dashboard provides you with an at-a-glance view into student performance and quick access to your courses and the features you use most. The Courses panel in the Dashboard displays up to four courses in the default SuccessMaker Math and/or Reading courses, myView Literacy Intensive Support and Practice courses, and/or custom courses. Select the Assign button for a course to quickly assign that course to students, or select View All to open the Courses page to view all of your courses.

Create a New Class

Classes (SM Groups) for Intensive Support and Practice Powered by SuccessMaker can be managed through the rostering features in Realize. For more information about rostering, see the Students and Groups page in Realize Online Help.

You must have a full SuccessMaker license to create a group within SuccessMaker.

Explore the Student Dashboard

By default, the Student Dashboard displays SuccessMaker Math and Reading courses, Intensive Support and Practice courses, and custom courses.

Intensive Support and Practice Reports: Mastery, Cumulative Performance, and Session History

You can create Mastery, Cumulative Performance, and Session History reports that include Intensive Support and Practice Powered by SuccessMaker as part of the report data. To include Intensive Support and Practice in your reports, select myView Literacy when selecting course types. This option is only available when you are subscribed to myView Literacy products.
